1. When taking supplements is there really a significant difference between mixing with water and milk ,its just that i'm using a weightgainer (maximuscle) and it says that 'best when mixed with water' ,i much prefer drinking it with milk and was wondering how much of a difference it would make. If it's insignificent then i'll carry on taking it with milk.
2. I've read that when trying to encourage muscle growth ,you should hold the weight when your muscles are in tension for 1-3 secs ,so for example if you were doing bench press ,you would hold the bar for 1-3 secs when you have lowered the bar to your chest ? Just now i do 4 sets of 6 reps with 60 kgs ,would it be better for bulking if i carried on doing this or if i lowered the weight and started holding the weight for a couple of seconds when in tension ?
