My legs hurt really bad for 3 to 4 days after my workout I start off with sqats we do 5 warm up sets going from 12 reps to 1 rep adding weight each time t'ill we get to our workout weight which we do 3 sets of 6 reps then we do leg press 2 sets of 6 reps or our maximum weight then staight leg dead lifts 2 sets of 6 reps of our maximum weight then 2 sets of 6 reps of our maximum weight of leg curl.
my legs are killin me every time after leg day...that is normal if you train hard..maybe you are injured,not badly but stil...you probably didn't do your warm up so good..before I do heavy squats,I do10 min of bicycle and a few warm up sets with light weight:)good luck

Just mke sure that the pain isn't injury related obviously.
Back in the day when my legs used to hurt like bitch after a work out, I tied a bath robe belt around the toilet door to help lower myself to the seat for a dump!
Thankfully the legs hurt, but not that much any more
