large muscles and pre-contest mode??

do larger muscles show the most definition the soonest when cutting away bodyfat?

eg: say if my chest was my best bodypart..thick and fully developed from every angle like Markus Ronnie or Arnie, and i went into pre contest, fad shedding mode.. would the chest reveal muscle tone and stration sooner than the other lesser developed bodyparts?

I dont know much about low bodyfat and how it looks (im only just starting to get there now) but i would imagine so, anyone feel free to correct me, but if it is a big bodypart, then there is more surface area to cover with fat so it spreads out more, so yeah id imagine it would :P if you understood what i said hahaha

fat tends to come off in a predetermined order. when you gain fat the first place for men is around the midsection then upper trunk (chest) then to the extremities - arms and legs. when the fat starts coming off the body tends to go to the last place it stored the fat, the extremities. you'll notice your arms and calves will become vascular first then your back followed by chest then midsection. my abs didn't come in until 2 days before my first show. don't be disappointed keep working hard and your perfect chest will reveal itself.

he is right. when i cut, usually my arms and shoulders and calves look better at first...then my chest and midsection as well as back follow.

One of the places I always look at when assessing other people who I help compete condition is the lower back. On most people the front part of the physique comes through first, the lower back is often last and plays such a part in displaying that beautiful xmas tree

To answer your question not necesarily.The big muscles like chest or back might start being more noticeable bit IMO its the smaller more defined muscles that the striations and cuts start showing up in first.especially shoulders.If you have good legs once your b/f gets low enough the striations in the upper quads will appear but thats hard for a lot of people.
