I chose songs that can be heard on the radio and mainstream songs for one reason, at any given time wile listening to the radio and I hear one of the songs it pumps me up even if not at the gym. Kinda a physco-take-home-after-the-gym state of mind. Great for yard work as well.

yea without a doubt, typically i go so intense in the gym that when i get out i like listening to smooth mellow ****, like dave or ben harper even...maybe SOJA or bob if the moods right, also sublime. but i know what you mean when u hear mainstream radio songs that come on when you least expect it, comes out of nowher and immediatley it gets you jacked up... my typical ipod playlists and such go from mellow, slowly rising to almost screamo music, and back down to mellow out. so when the song comes on im almost at my hype, and it send me over the edge when i hear it.

Dead Milk Men kick ass. If you like them, you might like Gorgoroth. They're a Norwegian Black Metal band. Is it just me, or does Norway make some of the best metal bands?

anything with a decent hiphop beat, to get me on a hype is good for me...or UK grime like tinie tempa, crazy titch, kano...etc
i know you guys in the US may not of heard of these guys, but they're bringing down the UK grime scene to you guys, so look out for it

I saw stained in Toronto once when they were at MuchMusic preforming. It was sweet, I saw them after the show when they were trying to get away from the crowd and they gave me an autograph and a band tee-shirt. Sa-WEET!

Well, what ever floats your boat. I like it because I admire what they represent. I'm more of a Power Metal type person or Death Metal. Death Metal like Cannibal Corpse or Power Metal like Manowar or Dio.

I don't agree with you Beefcake, but it's just my personal opinion. I think Sweden is home better metal bands; In Flames, Meshuggah, The Haunted, Carnal Forge, Soilwork, Mnemic, Dimension Zero, At the gates... Although most of these bands sound pretty much the same, maybe it is because, as in norwegian metal bands every memeber has like 5 other bands. So it's kind of the same dudes, most of the time. But it's just my opinion brother.

Great metal bands are found all over Europe dude, Sweden has made maybe a handful of decent bands, but other than that the rest is ****e. the only band i listen to thats come out of Sweden is Opeth.

just so that everyone knows, Creed disbanded in 2000 i think.. somewhere around there.
but they didnt completley die off.
they merely kicked Scott Stapp out (he was the singer) and got a replacement for for vocals who goes by the name Miles Kennedy.
the band aint called Creed anymore either. its called Alter Bridge and they sound 1,000,000 times better. every song is PERFECT.
