a long time ago, years, i read an article about developing the mind-muscle connection. one way was to do air exercises, go through the motion and feel the muscle working, feel what the exercise is suppose to work. then pick up the wieght and chances are you will hit the right muscle group. i think its a great idea to do air exercises, just make sure you don't like a dork in front of a bunch of people you don't know.
