I come to respect all you guess a lot, the vast majority of you all know much more than i do about the life of a BB. This being the case i respect all of ya'lls opinions ideas and beliefs. So i was wondering what ya'll feel about faith and christianity?! I've been a christian my whole life, but im not going to lie the last couple years i have acted nothing like it, I wont throw all my business out there but Drugs drinking and girls had my life on lock. However as ive been turning my every thought to BBing i was missing something not in my nutrition or lifting, but it was my spiritual life. I personaly want my mind, body, and SOUL to be all it can be. As i have been reading my Bible praying and trying to live my life for the Lord, call me crazy but i train with much more intensity, i think much more clear, i am more focust and everything come easier.... sry this was such a long read but i just wanted to get it out there.

reading the Bible and praying are the best ways to get to know God-His name is Jehovah by the way-in the original Hebrew and Greek versions of the Old and New Testament God's name was in there over 7,000 times but false religions that do not honor His name as in "Our father who art in Heaven hallowed be the name"..took his name out...why?..because they dont want you to know it...something to think about...

I was baptised catholic, even though i dont believe in it.

In saying that i am by no means an Atheist, i just dont believe in following organised religion, feels very cultish to me, but thats just my opinion.

Anyone can believe in whatever they want for them to feel free/safe/completed ... i only have a problem when people see me and preach to me. Most of the time i have a band shirt on (generally death metal) and they come up and say shit like 'satan this and satan that' and assume that im unhappy with my life and that i want more. I am perfectly happy with my life mentally and spiritually. And infortunately for all the christians in here that DO respect other peoples beliefs... most of these people ARE from the christian faith...

Born and raised a christian. Couple years ago I veered off track. It's one thing to say you are a christian, and another to follow the lifestyle. After a messed up year I found myself turning to god for help. I am now a much more positive and secure person about it. I NEVER preach to people though. To each their own, I just think its best to atleast have something to believe in, no matter what religion.

So you dont think God "Jehovah" can hear you in any other name other than Jehovah? I like to think my God had many different names, God, Lord, Father, Jehovah, Daddy, Pops, I feel no matter how you approach Him He will always listen and be there no matter how you talk to him.

I believe in Religion I just dont believe in organized religion. I dont think that I need to go sit in a church every Sunday wearing my best clothes for God to know that I believe in him.

I am non-denominational Christian. I don't think it's about religion, it's about faith. You can go to Church every Sunday and wear a cross for a necklace, but that does not make you a believer or follower of God's Word. There's a Christian band that once said "the single greatest cause of Atheism today is Christians who follow Jesus with their words, then deny him by their actions. This is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable." I really agree with that quote.

It all comes down to what you believe and how you live your life based on that. I don't preach, but I'm always willing to discuss my faith, cause I agree with PWRofONE, you should have something to believe in, and you should always stand up for that. I think the way I carry myself and live my life speaks volumes over what I simply say.

Jesus said that the only way to the father is thru him..so you can dial any number you want but if u dont dial the right number you wont get thru..Jehovan wants the people who he created to know who he is..so if you wanna call him pop go ahead but he wont be listening..
