Yes you have teen and novice divisions at almost any show. All you have to do is find one near by and pay your dues and sign up.
Thats not a career though. You have to earn your Procard in every assocition you want to compete in by placing high enough in so many comps.

also, id be entering as many comps as u can at this stage. it will help you get used to the stresses of dieting and cardio, practice posing and other routines, ect.

also.. pics would be good too, may help us evaluate what parts you need work on and your strongest points, to help you bring in a totaly developed package that will garuntee a high placing

Now would be the best time to enter as many as you can handle with al the dieting and stuff it might only be 5-6 a yr depends on you.Like Mygeeto said pratice your posing. All the time even through the year when there is no comps. Now its expected for you not to be to good at it but after a few yrs its harder to get away with not knowing.

Thanx heaps guys, il get some pics up shortly so yal can tell me were i stand lol, the way ive been training latley has been for muscle tone and endurance but now im looking to realy pack muscle on. I have heard that if you realy want to put size on you should cut back on the cardio because something about using to much cardio output or something and that it takes away from the progress of building msucle?

You cant expect to pack on alot of muscle with out putting on weight. It is possible to hinder your growth with too much cardio but 3 days or so of light cardio in my opinion is neleded even when bulking unless you dont care if you can alot of excess fat.It makes it easier for when you start dieting for a contest

My advise to you to make a career out of BB, would be to attain the qualification to personally train people. Most of us who compete even at national and international level make very little in the way of prize money and the cost of competing is expensive, so the reason I do it is to follow my dream. So good luck to you mate
