Pinching Pain

I was trying out the Hanging Cleans (high-reps, low weight) today and my warm-up set (just the bar) went fine. After my second set of 65lbs, i started to feel a pinching pain mid-way in my left forearm and it felt like a vein was going to pop and it hurt like hell! Btw, this only happens when i do power cleans and Hanging cleans.

Have any of you guys had this? And, what can do do about this?

No ia have never had that problem . It could be a sore tendon or sometime when you pinch a nerve in your hand from grip you might feel it in your forearm. Sometimes I get a oinched feeling when I am doing heavy barbell or dumbell presses but that beacuse of a nerve.

My guess is tendon, try staying away from exercises where you feel the pain an then after adequate rest, attempt the same workouts to see if the pain went away.

did you try doing curls? does it hurt? what about upright rows?

maybe you added weight too fast? maybe you didn't stretch properly?

Curls and Upright Rows feel absolutely fine for me.. It's just the whole part where i have to flip the palms so it faces up part..
I don't think it was the adding weight too fast but, it could've been the whole not stretching properly thing, and the sore tendon cuz i get a somewhat same feeling near my wrists when i do wrist curls..
