the 1st time I tried to do a pullup I couldnt even do 1...lol..so I worked on pulldowns till I got the courage to try again...now I can do 3 sets of 10 perfect wide grip pullups...to me this is the absolute hardest and most gratifying exercise of them all So how do you feel about pullups? How many can you do?

I always do my pullups 1st and only do 3x10 when I'm completely rested and 100% good to go...otherwise I do 5x6 or 6x5....I follow up with seated rows 3x10 and bent over rows 3x10 then do front and back bb shrugs 3x10 front and 3x10 back.....once in a while I do 1 arm rows or t-bar rows...

I love pull ups!

Actually when i started pretty quickly i got up to doing sets of ten. Gradually as i started putting on weight it fell down to barely being able to do 4.

After some work i got it back up, i found doing assissted reps & partial reps helped alot.

With regards the partials, now i find them a bit more effective than regular reps(for this excerise), i think of it as not quite going fully up & just not quite all the way down, kinda 20 - 80 % of the range of motion. Great burn!
