Desmond beat out kai based on 'good looks' I just saw something on it on dateline or something. Taller people, Better looking people, Smiling people, people with clean, straight, white teeth, etc. tend to win more elections, promotions and higher salaries. Shorter people (not you LBJ, or Cook, or me), fatter people, frowny faces, people with 'summer teeth' (some are over here, some are over there) tend to get the shaft - and not in a good way.
