dude! ur spose to do German volume @ reduced weight... ...or do u normally do 900 lbs?

I do that mass volume technique when I work my shoulders and traps. I shrug and shrug and shrug till I can't hold my head up. It's a beautiful thing!

ok this may be a silly question, but do you mean 60% of your 10 rep max? ....in order to make it through 10 sets of 10 reps.... i take it the early sets you'll be stoppping before failure but struggling in the later ones?
