How long?

Hey guys.. Im 17, 5`11, 160lbs. Im not that big can someone give me some advice so i can join and do somewhat good in any junior competitions, and how long would it take me?

read, eat, lift, sleep and then eat some more. Bodybuilding is a marathon not a sprint. I'd say at least a year of solid training and diet, probably 2.

theres no quick road imo, but there are ways to make the journey that little bit faster. If i was to say, id focus on diet, technique, and a solid program. but yeah, i wouldnt think of competing after one year, but if you put balls to walls you could probably be in good condition to compete
