Last week I cut down from training 5 or 6 days to 4 becasue my back was sore. This week, I planned on going back to 5, and I went to squat after two hard leg workouts and my legs were so weak i just ended up leaving. Is my body telling me to just calm down, maybe spend the month on a 4 day cycle (which coincidently times up with my cycling off creatine).?

so, the main questino is, do i need to just do the 4 days a week thing for a month, then back up it in may......or should i just work through some of this soreness and lack of energy in the gym (the lack of energy is not mental, more like my muscles just not wanting to work).

How is your diet looking? Specifically pre workout? And how long do you workout when you do?

Sometimes I can be in the gym for two hours at a time and half way through i'll eat oatmeal or wheat bread for some more carbs, and that usually pulls me through.

It might be that you just need a break, if your going too hard for too long your body might just be needing time to recoop.

yeah, i dont think its my diet. i have that down to a T. and i can workout for a good 2 hours without any problem as long as I'm feeling good. so, it's not a matter of pooping out midway through.

This happens to me about every 2 months. Lasts for about a week so I just take it a little easier than normal during this time (usually involves just playing racquetball or something similar) when I'd usually be doing weights. After I rest for a week I find that I can go back full force for another couple of months. Surely the timeframes would be different for everyone but I'd think the concept would be the same. Also, I don't take any preworkout supplements at the moment. Just protein afterwards.

You know, every one of your posts I want to comment on, but after your bold display of "knowledge" and cavalier attitude a little while ago, I just laugh now. You acted so on top of things, so in control-that there is no way in hell i'm ever going to help you out, bud. But then again, like you said, "I'll get your advice when I ask for it". Right?

alright boys enough with the testosterone talk...we're all here for a common purpose...and we all know nothing gets accomplished by online message board flaming, other than u wasting quality masterbation time.

now back to the subject, i agree with the webmaster, i think u should take a week off, maybe even calorie up on the week off, i bet when u come back u could throw on 2-3 pounds in the following month if u did it right.

and i dunoo where u live in jersey, but i started working/training at the NYSC in Ramsey if u ever wanna train lemme know.

Hahaha...Good thing Education is what you make of it. You get out of it what you put in, and right now I'm over half-way through my studies to getting my bachelors in PR-Communications with an "emphasis" on advertising, minor in Portuguese. But we aren't talking book smarts are we? If you wanted to go there then you'd get your ass handed, if you wanted to go physique wise, still-you'd get your ass handed, which route do you want to take? And how the hell did you correlate New Mexico's educational performance with applied exercise and sciences? Was that the only shit you could come up with? Pffftt... Pathetic...you gotta come with something better than that you simpleton.
