Well guys I finished watching Art's new dvd and even though a few want me to review some others first I was most interested in this one.

Let me first talk about training dvd's and what makes them good.

In the 80's many tapes were purely instructional and showed the athletes working out more to demonstrate then show intensity.

Then came a revolution: "Dorian Yates, Blood and Guts"
This video was done in black and white showing the raw, unedited, no retakes workouts of pure white hot intensity. Yates at 300lbs, going through ball busting workouts was something to see.

Then came the BFTO tapes. An electic series showing all of the Olympia athletes.

Then Mits found a side market producing individual tapes.

Ronnie again revolutionized the market with "The Unbelievable." Showing insane condition and strength to boot.

Then we had another progression in dvd's "Markus Ruhl, Made In Germany" Markus showed insane size but brought a lot of personality and humor to his 2nd dvd.

Those four dvd's have set a standard that other has yet to match.

DVD's like those four would rate a 5 out of 5.

Now we have a flood of dvd's hitting the market.

Some are pure workout dvd's, and others are more instuctional.

If you like Art Atwood, you will love this dvd, if you don't you'll certainly enjoy it at the very least.

This new dvd takes instructional information to a new level.

Art not only describes his full body training, with both great detail, but awesome intensity as well.

His workout schedule is
Day 1 shoulders/triceps/and traps
Day 2 back/chest/biceps
Day 3 legs

each workout is in a different gym and Art shows off his strength, as well as a very good conditioned 320lbs!

405 inlcines, 365 military presses, 1500lbs leg press, 495lbs deads, ect ect ect.

Big huge delts and Giant chest and back and sick thighs!!

Then he takes you through what he calls "extend techniques" in which he demonstrates stuff like forced reps, partials and negatives.

Then his nutrition section is awesome, as he shows you what to eat. Followed by a supplament section describing anything and everything that can help you to grow and why.

Then he shows some contest footage from this past years Florida and NOC, in which in my humble opinion he dwarfed everyone!

All in all a very good dvd.

The only downside is the production quality. Although there is no poor editing and the sound is good, its not the clear picture of a Mits dvd.

My rating is a 4 out of 5.

Enjoy this dvd I did!
