Any excercise is inherntly dangerous to some extent. The compound excercises, which happen to be some of the best are probably the most dangerous because there is the probably that you either will drop alot of weight on yourself, fall with the weight, or hurt your back.

You don't get that same kind of effect when training bis or traps. =o

I think my statement was misinterpreted. I am not trying to imply staying away from them. I am saying most do not know how to do them correctly, compound that with adding too much weight, and being a lower back exercise, and for most they are dangerous.
