Well I finally got up to 1000 posts, but more importantly.

I wanted to know what everyone thought about "The zone", like getting into that mental zone when you lift. Whats your opinions on it?

I got in the zone last leg day doing this imensly intense routine. When it was all done and I "left the zone" I had to run (more so crawl) to the toilet to throwup. I love getting into the zone but it rarley happens to me.

once every 6 months i challenge myself and lift a personal best on the some basics
bench
deads
squats
i remember last month i squatted my PB at 573lbs for 3reps n burst a few blood vessels around my left knee. i couldn't walk for a week, i couldn't even drive cos i couldn't pick up my left leg, even now it still hasn't fully recovered.

I'm kinda the same way, I dont pay attention to anybody else around me it's like they aren't even there. I dont need to psyche myself up for a heavy lift, I dont even think of it as weight I just think of the movement and the weight is secondary.
