The pump, good or bad?

From what i have read i know there is debate about the pump of lactic acid and blood in your muscle's being better for building mass, but i would just like to hear what anyone else thinks.

I think it depens on the muscle being worked. Chest and back I like to rip and tear the muscle not going for a pump but just to enough to know that the muscle is being worked to it's full extent. These muscles along with quads are to big to always strive for a pump IMO. However muscles like biceps, triceps calves and even delts (to some extent) Getting the pump works for me.

I thought getting the pump was about being in the zone... having that victory feeling, getting that feel conquring the world?

But I don't care, I still train like most pros, with the idea using as much weight as possible and as many reps as possible. Works good for me.

NOO. I went to the gym and got the pump then came straight home and had sex with my girl. Awesome coz I had the shakes from the gym at the same time.

ive been training for soon 4 years, but i have focused more and more on bodybuilding the last months, and for about 4 months i have been really serious with what i eat and so on.

i have the ability to take in a lot of information, so i am a pretty fast learner...

now im prolly quitting basketball to focus only on bodybuilding and my goal is to compete when i am 18 years old
