Hi guys, i was just intrested to know what you all thought was the best bodybuilding magazine (or whether you don't rate any)? I live in the U.K. and previously used to buy flex, until i realised that the stuff printed is a pile of contradicting crap, e.g. january issue would have a 6 month 5-8 rep workout for mass gain(which is best), then the feb issue would show a 4 month 15-20 rep workout for mass gain (which is best). It's a shame, because i like reading about the sport and keeping up to date with it, but i don't want to waste my money. So, anyone have any suggestions on which bodybuilding magazine is best? Thanks.

None of them are worth 8 bucks a month. Muscular Development is alright, but their unending promotion of steroid use is a little tiring.

**** all the rest!! If you're a true bodybuilder you read MD (muscular development) That's the only magazine out there that doesn't dilute the truth. They portray our sport as it is "No Bull"!!

no doubt, MD is the best. They have a lot of good articles in there and you can really learn stuff. There is alot of crap too that you have to weed through but what do you expect when its 300+ pages. Plus there is page 69

dude a lot of these magazines have lots of theory which isnt 100% true, they just put lots of stuff in there to sell the product, theres a few very good threads here in the dungeon that if you read you dont really need any other book to help you as this would be all the information you really need.

just my 2 cents, use the money towards your supplements, gym membership food and girlfriends ))

MD. I don't know about the rest of you but I really don't need a magazine telling me to do this or to do that. I know what I need to do to get it done, and listen to my own body. That said, I buy MD and FLEX because they represent bodybuilding, which is interesting to me. I like reading about the bodybuilders and seeing their pictures, it motivates me.

Same here. I usually buy flex because I like the stuff in it. If they had an animal pak mag i would probably buy it just for the ads.
