Dorian Yates said himself that he didn't have good genetics, he just trained like a mother and stuck to a strict diet and supplementation plan.

If your lacking genetically, ur road would be a lot harder. like stated, Dorian was credited for having somewhat normal genetics compared to his competitors and made himself into Mr. O. It would be possible, with a lot of hard work, dedication to diet, and a bunch of good drugs... Dorian did it!!

Overall, I agree with lithium

I agree 100% somebody with bad genetics may have to eat more or take more drugs to attain pro level. I've never taken roids and I'm already at 255 lbs, I've never really had a problem adding mass so I'm just gonna ride the natural train as far as I can go and see where that gets me. Then and only then would I even consider taking alternative measures.

It's very unlikely. Even with steroids, growth hormones, etc. Look at the number of IFBB pros, alot of people take steroids and can't get to that level. Genetics play a large role in ultimately where you end up.

Lol. True. But genetics plays a large role in how you fast you develop. One gene in particular, the myostatin gene, if one or both of the genes are inactive in your body you will be able to put on muscle increddibly fast.

But your right, even if I thought I had bad genetics I would still push myself.

by definition, no. Clearly dorian didnt have anywhere near average genetics its not as tho all these other pro bodybulders arent watching there diet pre contest and are training twice a week that it can be overcome just by hard work. what % of ppl do u think could look like dorian is they dedicated themselves completely for 5 years?? its clearly well under 1%.
