I got a friend that got into a motorcycle accident over a year ago and now his wrist is healed up but he has great pain in it. He tries to work out but has horrible pain in his wrist whenever he tries to lift anything somewhat heavy. What would you guys suggest? He was thinking Deca would help out with his joint pain but thats only temporary. Anything long term he can take? He's open to anything that will help him lift.

I would take polysulfated glycomaminoglycan, either adequan or alfutop for joint/ligament pain. I took 20 amps of both and really liked them, I injuried my shoulder and it helped alot. Tell your boy to research it, can't hurt to try it.

He is going to a doctor, for the past year. Just most doctors don't want to prescribe any thing. So if you can't help, keep it to yourself. Some of the guys on these boards are doctors, chemists, and trainers. I take their recommendations serious because some have 30 or more years experiance in some of these fields.

Just can't take everything everyone says as gospel, just got to take it as recommendations and then research yourself.

Sorry to hear about your friend,
Now; question; has he gone for hand - wrist recovery therapy? if so, how much time and what results he got? If not; this is the first place I'd go, if it was a bone fracture or worse an exposed fracture; therapy is mandatory since tendons and cartilagues were severely damaged; plus the fact that having a limb without movement for long periods make them weak and tight so when you try to do what you used to you realize it is not the same thing; hurts like hell. But this is just a recovery phase.
Unless... there was a fault recovery and your friend thinks wrist has healed when not completely or healed in a bad form (X rays will tell you this)
Hence, there's lack of info in your statement.

First off, thanks for the great response. Ya he went through physical therapy. He got pretty much all of the movement back in it just hurts when he tries to lift. He's going to a specialist in wrist (for get what he called him) and see where that takes him. If he doesn't get the results he is looking for then he's going to a sports doctor to see what they can do for him. Just any recommendation that could help him are what we are looking for. He has his man doctor too but we all know what those are like when it comes to anything outside the norm of society.

What about creating a light routine in order to increase forearms strenght/flexibility hence movility? does it hurt when curling only? what about bench pressing and/or squatting where wrist is in kind of not moving - state? has he gone thru these?
Cuz if he's already gone thru physical therapy and still hurts a lot; there's no doubt a new and close look on his wrist needs to be performed
