from what I know it eventually goes away once your skin gets used to it. i started shaving my head and it gets real bad the first 20-30 minutes once im done. Lotion seems to help a little...atleast it takes the burn and itching away

it may have to do with the cream you use or even the razor (assuming you use a razor). Before shaving slightly wet the area but don't drench it because then the shave won't be as close. When you put the cream on let it set for a minute or so before you start shaving. Another thing that helped me is about 5 minutes before I go to shave I'd rub some lotion on because that also helps soften up the hair. Oh well, this seems to work for me..

i use hair-removal cream on my arms, but i tried waxing my legs, abit of a rash and same with i use the razor on my legs, it might also be cos my leg hairs are pretty long when i did them, i used the hair clippers to shorten the hair on my legs lol, so now its pretty short like how it would be after 4 days of it growing back, i might try the cream on my legs in a small area to see what happens, but yea i might try your way aswel if all things seem to go red lol

As said above your body will eventually get accustomed to it and you won't rash up as bad.

Genital shaving or anywhere else tight clothing is wore can be a bitch at times. (Go without underwear it really helps)

Lotions like noxzema and the best I've found "Bikini zone" have bump fighters and rash soothers in them and immediately take the ouch away. The stuffs 5 bucks for a tiny tube but damn it's worth it.

Waxing will bump you up as well. PLus there's certain areas that hurt like hell ta wax!

As for ya head??

Google " Headrazor" best damn thing I've found for shaving your head. it's blades aren't flat like a normal razor. Less strokes across the head to remove the hair, and a more contoured surface. It doesn't leave the heat and shaving rashes like a regular razor will.

Oh yea. like ya face always use a new sharp razor. Savin 50 cents on a razor blade aint worth the damn razor burn.
