Okay guys, did a search and didn't see anything about this, but what do you guys do when you throw up while training? I ask because today I was doing heavy rows and threw up in my mouth and swallowed it twice before I could make it to the bathroom to get it out. So what do you guys do afterwards as far as continuing with your workout? Or do you guys have any interesting stories of getting sick or throwing up in the gym?

-Personally I kept going at the same intensity as if nothing happened but I realize this isn't always the case. Some little prick waiting to fill his water bottle up in the bathroom gave me a dirty look like I had been in there for too long...it's like sorry man, I'll puke faster next time. :finger:

i've threw up in my mouth a few times.. only when i was stupid enough to train 10-15 minutes after eating my pre workout meal.

Throwing up in the gym doesnt mean youre hardcore.. i think its pretty stupid ppl think they're hard because they threw up while training.

I wasn't saying I was hardcore because I thew up, I threw up because I had some bad chicken earlier today. I changed the original thread so instead of asking just what people do when they get sick, it also asks if they have any interesting stories on the subject

pains anties are in a twist bc hes worried about what sywalker is going to bring to he table in the video battle bro dont worry to much about what he says as far as insults.

Yea i mean ive thrwn up a littl;e in my mouth, it usually happens like pain said when u dont give youself enough time between eating your preworkout meal, and working out. u should wait at least a half hour preferrably 45-hour after your preworkout meal and training. Food needs to digest bro youll get energy from your food and not throw up that way.

Thats rough about those rows i use to have that problem to but i drink a lot of water most of the time also.

you should wait more like one hour between pre-workout meal and training.

my buddy puked one time during an intense squat workout, we still laugh about it today. The coolest thing about it was the owner, he just said "bucket's in the corner" , he didn't make it very far from the power rack :)

I've only thrown up on leg days. I think the tally is 4 times. Twice right after squats, twice right after leg press. It happened on leg press because I did the Charles Glass Marathon: after you finish your last set you drop the weight to a medium/heavy weight. You then perfom 15 reps, pause. 12 reps, pause. 10 reps, 8, 6, 4, 2. That 57 extra reps!! It's killer and usually induces vommitting. I always go right back to training after a good ralph!

Throwing up in some cases really does mean you're pushing your limits to the max and beyond, though usually it's from working out rite after eating or eating nasty food. I havn't thrown up while lifting weights, but have thrown up while doing a timed 1mile run. I was going full pace from beginning and then next thing you know..........

I wait till I'm spotting someone on bench and then deliberately throw up over them whether I feel sick or not.

This is the deal, I get up at 5:00 a.m. three days a week and workout, I never eat breakfest before, and I can't count how many times I've puked in my garage. I only puke on heavy leg days. I use my wifes mop bucket, she loves that shit! I have found this out in my years of trainning though...

If you feel like you need to puke DO IT, I have tried to stop my-self from doing so and just wasted valuable time!

NEVER stop working-out just because you puked, I have always felt better and was allways able to finish my workouts. I my self have puked more than once on a leg day, you just have to want it bad enough to power through that shit.

OWN IT, don't let it own you!
